It's About Time! ...Part 2

1 min read

I shared a blog post in—I think—April, announcing my intention to write a book and promising to keep everyone updated on the process, hoping that sharing this news would help keep me motivated to write.

Well… four months later, I still have not shared any more information and have done very little writing. I’m sorry for leaving you hanging. Someone shared this graphic with me recently, and it is so true.

That said, I have still been working on my book, and I plan to eventually finish and publish. I will try to do better about keeping you updated, as well as working on the book itself!

For now, I will resolve a cliffhanger that I left you with, although many of you already know. I never told you what my book is about! Well, it’s a memoir.

“Are you old enough to write a memoir?” People who don’t know me well will ask.

It’s true. I’m pretty young (although someone should inform my heart because it seems to have missed the memo). But I’ve been through a lot in the past several years, and that’s what I will be writing about: My journey with a serious, chronic illness.

“That will be a chapter in my memoir” has become a regular thing I say in response to questions that are too complicated to answer succinctly! That right there may even be my best marketing strategy.

“All the days ordained for me were written in your book

before one of them came to be.”

Psalm 139:16
