It's About Time!

“You should write a book,” people have been telling me for years.

The truth is, I’ve always wanted to write a book. I’ve even started several times, but it’s never actually gone anywhere. I could make several excuses for myself, and I would use those same excuses to explain why I haven’t kept my blog updated.

However, I recently finished up my second master’s degree, a Master of Divinity from Amridge University; I’ll graduate in a few weeks! Many people are wondering if I'm planning to get me doctorate. I probably will, but I'm not sure. I know I don't want to do it right now. I recently realized that I have been in school at least one semester of every year since 1999, when I started preschool, so I am looking forward to a break.

With my newfound free time, my first goal is to finally write a book!

It’s about time I finally do this, and I’m already making some good progress!

I’ll tell you more about the book later, but I wanted to announce it because I believe everyone knowing about it will be good motivation to actually finish this time.

Also, I’m planning to resume blogging. I will probably continue posting some of my usual content (devotional thoughts, theological discussions, life reflections, etc.), but I will also be keeping you updated on my book progress!

Stay tuned for announcements, behind-the-scenes content of my book-writing journey, some potential opportunities to provide input on the book, sneak peaks, and ‘deleted scenes’ which won’t make it into the final book!
